Born as Nic Regis and dubbed early as "Reeg", he has worked under his alias “The Mixologist,” to release the ground breaking mixtape series “Check the Blend,” which has received acclaim from fans and DJ’s across the globe. Flawless track selection, innovative remix taste and complete vinyl control has propelled Reeg into one of the nation's best DJ’s. This turntablist is just as comfortable cutting beats on a PC as he is fondling wax on the 1’s and 2’s. Reeg had graced the decks for 5 years with TrakCiti before disbanding in 2006. While the group no longer makes music, Reeg is still on his grind promoting "checktheblog.net" and creating some of the industry's most influential mixtapes. Still playing at underground events all over the midwest while currently collaborating with over a dozen well respected artists, Reeg’s portfolio grows on a daily basis and is definitely worth watching. Garnering attention from New York to L.A., Reeg has grabbed the industry’s ear and has many BIG things to come.
